Ky Ngo Dennis is a highly attuned practitioner, whose purpose is to help you reach a higher level of well-being and consciousness
Ky [pronounced “key”] is the owner of the San Diego-based practice, Spiritual Somatic Therapist. She is a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT #100105) has helped hundreds of clients work through issues of trauma, loss, and disconnection over the last fifteen years. She brings to the healing space a calming presence and strong intuitive guidance that is rooted in both the human experience & spiritual wisdom.
Having grown up in a working class immigrant family, she has a deep understanding of how traumatic life experiences and cultural pressures can inhibit us from living an authentic and purposeful life.
Ky dived into the world of healing at a young age and has had personal experience with a wide breadth of healing modalities. Her own journey has deeply shaped how she practices, with an embodied knowing of what helps clients feel safe and supported in the therapeutic relationship. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked to advocate for the environment and animals.
As a practitioner, she strives to integrate her psychological expertise with somatic and spiritual techniques to help clients reach deep transformation. She has been a student of Buddhism, energy medicine, and spiritual teachings for over twenty years. Ky is also heavily influenced by post-modern thought.
She lives in San Diego, California with her family. Outside of her work, she enjoys playing the piano, gardening, all things comedy, and doting on her daughter and two cats.
