I offer individual therapy to adults located in California. My specializations are trauma healing and spiritual development.
My Approach
My unique style is a blend of somatic techniques (Accelerated Resolution Therapy using eye movements, acupressure-based breath work, somatic Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory) and spiritually-inspired practices (guided imagery, energy work, and Buddhist teachings). I strive to integrate practices & concepts that are indigenous to my Asian culture.
Focus Populations
The following populations benefit most from my style of work:
- Clients with a strong spiritual lens or who seek a spiritual lens in their therapy journey
- Clients who have not benefited from talk therapy and are seeking a more somatic-focused form of therapy
- Clients who have experienced single traumas (loss, accidents, heartbreak, etc.)
- Clients who have experienced chronic traumas (childhood abuse, parental neglect, etc.)
- Clients who suffer from climate change distress or anxiety
- Asian American clients who prefer to work with an Asian American therapist
How Therapy Works
Therapy can look different for every client, depending on their needs and responses to the therapeutic technique. Every BODY is unique and has its own speed of working through psychological, emotional and spiritual material.
When starting therapy, I typically recommend that clients commit to weekly or bimonthly (every two weeks) sessions.
